TVR U0649 U Door Mirror Post Stem Upgrade Door wing mirror post stem upgrade for S3, S3C, S4C, V8S, Chimaera and Griffith.The original posts for these cars (TVR U0649) are notoriously weak, easy to misalign and a devil to replace. Ask any body shop that’s had the misfortune. Motaclan, in conjunction with our friends at Forge Motorsport, have developed an alternative to save time and minimise the invention of new curse words.Supplied in 2 parts, the kit includes and new CNC alloy base to screw into the door which is taller than its predecessor. The tripod (or toadstool) is now cast in stainless steel, chemically blacked and is shorter than the original, so the mirror head remains in the same place. But, and this is the most important part, the previously inaccessible grub screw (now in stainless steel) is now fully accessible for fine tuning of the mirror head alignment . Fitting you mirror back to the car is now far easier and much, much faster.Full fitting instructions will follow.
