The frame is handmade from reclaimed Victorian Ash fence rails. Once the timber is de-nailed and sanded smooth it gets coated with an all natural oil which brings out the rich tones of the timber. Each frame we make is 100% unique. The nature of reclaimed timber means that no 2 pieces will ever be the same, and we love that! The chalkboard paint has a slightly gritty texture to the touch which allows the chalk to fully stick to the board. It can be wiped clean with a damp sponge and used over and over due to it’s long lasting durability.
